After fifteen plus years is it possible Nikki got it wrong? Or has someone been switching things? Jack had a big story line in Death Maker, fitting that Nikki gets the same here, I thought she was excellent, among a huge cast, which included the likes of Art Malik and Dirvla Kirwan. After some very big, dramatic episodes, the change in pace is very welcome, the tone here is very different, a greater sense of mystery and intrigue. He's very good at penning conspiracy theories and cover stories, just as he did in 'Terror' from a few years ago. The big question needing answering, did Nikki make a mistake? Writer, Michael Crompton has written some excellent episodes in his time, in particular, Body 21. After what's been a hugely dramatic, and very topical series, the Series Finale, Betrayal begins in a more sombre, low key mystery. ![]()
